We are proud to be the first dental practice in our area to offer teeth whitening using the new ZOOM! II teeth whitening system - the same system used on ABC’s hit show “Extreme Makeover.” If your teeth are stained or discolored, ZOOM! II teeth whitening is the ideal procedure to lighten and brighten your smile. A ZOOM! II whitening procedure is simple and painless, and the redesigned ZOOM! II system allows us to perform the treatment in less than an hour. The results are immediate, and patients can expect as much as 8 shades of improvement once the procedure is complete.
At Home Teeth Whitening
For anyone who would like to whiten their teeth in the comfort of their own home, our practice also offers ZOOM! take-home whitening gel. In only three nights your teeth can be whitened by as much as 6 shades! Start on Friday and by Monday your smile will be transformed.
Porcelain Veneers
With porcelain veneers, you can have a beautiful smile in less than three weeks! Porcelain veneers offer an easy and dramatic way to close gaps between teeth, mask discolored teeth, and straighten misaligned teeth. In many cases, porcelain veneers can be used as an alternative to orthodontics. Because porcelain is durable and resists staining, most of our patients prefer porcelain veneers to more invasive restorations involving dental crowns. Wear the mouthpiece for just a few hours during the day, or wear it while you sleep, and your smile can be transformed!
Metal-Free White Fillings
Silver-mercury fillings have not been used in our practice for many years. Over time, silver fillings tend to darken the teeth, and can act like a wedge in a tooth, leading to tooth fractures. Currently, our office features composite resin “white” fillings that can be matched to the natural color of your teeth. Composite fillings are our choice due to their natural appearance, and their ability to restore your tooth’s natural strength.
When an old silver filling needs to be replaced, we recommend that patients replace all the restorations in that arch. The difference between an arch with silver fillings and an arch with a white bonded filling replacement is remarkable. With the gray silver fillings removed, your smile will be healthier and brighter!
Porcelain Crowns
We can honestly count on one hand the number of crowns we have placed in the past four years that were not made entirely of porcelain. That’s how wonderful we believe these restorations are.
Porcelain crowns are strong, long lasting, and absolutely stunning in their recreation of natural teeth. The color is so natural that you may have a very difficult time telling these from your original teeth. And thanks to the latest digital technology, our high speed x-rays can show exactly what is happening underneath these beautiful materials, allowing us to treat and prevent decay that would normally go undiscovered.
Porcelain Onlays
A porcelain onlay is a dentist fabricated replacement of one or more cusps of your tooth. We provide this treatment because we feel onlays are much more conservative than a full dental crown. By replacing the infected part of your tooth with onlays, we can preserve much of your natural tooth all while strengthening your bite.
Precision Partial Denture
Sometimes a removable precision partial denture is the best way to replace missing teeth. Our precision partial dentures provide a rock solid fit that is extremely long lasting and kind to the surrounding teeth and gums.
Bridges
If you are you tired of removable partial dentures, you may be a candidate for dental bridges. Bridges are a permanent replacement for missing teeth that can only be removed by a dentist. They provide long-lasting support to surrounding teeth, and they function in the same manner as your natural teeth. Brush them, floss them, and take care of them just like your natural teeth.
