Dr. Bill Moorman

Dr. Bill Moorman was born in Lakeland, Ga. and attended schools there. His father owned the Ford dealership and his mother operated Moorman Hardware and Furniture Co. His father was a state senator and in the House of Representatives. Dr. Bill grew up water skiing at Twin Lakes during the summer.

Dr. Bill graduated from VSU in 1965 with a B.S. degree in Biology and Chemistry.  From VSU he attended the University of Louisville where he received his D.M.D. degree and graduated with honors.  He met and married his wife, Mary K. James, while he was a senior in dental school.  After graduating he joined the U.S. Navy as a 2nd Lt. And served two years at Paris Island dental detachment.  Their first son, Ashley, was born there.  Ashley is now a dentist and Dr. Bill works with Dr. Ashley Moorman and Dr. Barclay Woodward.  Dr. Bill joined ADC in 2006. 

Dr. Woodward is a clinical product evaluator for Dentsply Caulk, an officer in the Quad County Dental Society, an advisory committee member for the Valdosta Technical Institute Schools of Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting, and a Community Partner in Education for the Valdosta City School System. He participates in Children’s Dental Health Month and volunteers at the LAMP Indigent Dental Clinic at Val-Tech.

Dr. Woodward has been married to the former Courtney Bryan of Lilburn, Georgia since April, 2000. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1997 with a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance. Courtney is employed by Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a sales consultant. They are awaiting the arrival of their first child, a baby girl, due in November.
